Too late

Another picture! I feel productive ^^

So, a briefing, since this jumps a bit from the past picture:
Squirrelflight can't find Leafpool, and the clan search. They found her...when it was too late...

Brambleclaw skirted branches and bushes as he was led by Whitewing to the place where the sisters were. He dreaded the moment when they'd get there. Leafpool was dead.
He'd never really disliked her, although she had lost a great deal respect after the scandal, and he felt saddened that the gentle tabby would never greet him good morning again. There had always seemed that Leafpool harbored a great deal of inner strength, that no cat really knew of.
The sun was starting to fall as the bushes thinned out. As soon as he and Whitewing emerged from the thorns, the smell hit him. Blood. He hated the smell. Even more when it was mixed with that of badger.
Whitewing led him to where Leafpool's body lay unmoving. He expected a mourning Squirrelflight to be by her side, but no ginger she-cat was present.
His throat thickened at the sight of Leafpool, drenched in her own blood, her amber eyes closed forever.
Whitewing lowered her head, and a weak whimpering sound escaped her. Then, she collected herself, and turned to look around. "But, where's Squirrelflight? She said..."
Brambleclaw's gaze swept across the open field, searching for Squirrelflight. Why wasn't she there? The two sisters had been closer than any siblings in the clan, and the deputy couldn't imagine anything that would distract Squirrelflight from this. Unless...
His veins went cold at the thought. Oh StarClan, she didn't!

Yup, I love writing too And hopefully, although it is staccato, you guys enjoy it too ^^
