Second last chapter - it ends tomorrow, can you believe that... I'm getting sorta sad now, without daily updates omg. Oh well. xD
Not much remaining, I mostly spent this semi-filler chapter tying up a few loose ends in a ridiculously hurried manner, sorry 'bout that. ^^' But yes, happy kitties are happy, not much to say there. Also, I don't care if it sounds unlikely for Lionblaze to have bet with two Shadowclan cats, in my mind the clans are just one big neighbourhood of gossips and nothing can tear me away from that idea ever~ U3U
Also, there is a difference in the timeline here, as opposed to my BramblexSquirrel universe, as here Lilyheart is already a queen. I just... couldn't make it fit otherwise, dunno but perhaps Squirrel and Shrew weren't really focused on trying to have kids, like, since Squirrel was more or less verified as barren by Yellowjerk, what would even be the point of trying, and just hurting themselves more if it failed?? So instead they've been this happy childless couple until now~ But nature wants to have its way and I am too weak towards the idea of kittens to even try to resist. QwQ

Chances were the other clans were as invested in the debate as the ThunderClan cats themselves by now. Which was proven a moon later at a gathering, when two ShadowClan cats approached Lionblaze to tell him he owed them a piece of prey each, for a bet on the matter that had gone wrong.
Better words have never been written before, tbh omg this is exactly how I imagine the Clans. The books always have been so full of tension, but really?? LOL There's got to be moons in between where it's pure peace (especially when the books are all, "Things had been peaceful between the Clans for [insert number of moons here]"), and what better way to pass the time until the next battle/drama/prey-theft than gossiping about one another? ...Especially ThunderClan, and how it's basically Drama Central over there? LOL
And omg the last part, with Squirrelflight hinting to Shrewpelt, and as lovely as the guy is, he really was a bit slow on the uptake. Both of them are so cuuuutee hnngg <3
